Dear customers, colleagues and friends of IGT,
IGT employees from around the world came together last week to present the Company’s Winning Combination of games, systems, and solutions, and to demonstrate our Customer First approach in action.
IGT successfully showcased its combined global strength of our newly formed Company as G2E Las Vegas represents the largest North American gaming show of the year. Attendance topped 25,000 and the exhibitor list exceeded expectations at more than 450.
The week started on a high note for IGT – our products and services took home top honors and several of our senior leaders participated in the gaming seminars that ran in parallel with G2E. At Monday’s Global Gaming Awards luncheon, IGT;s S3000 cabinet was named "Casino Product of the Year," and Powerbucks™ was named "Land-Based Gaming Innovation of the Year."
Located in the center of the sprawling venue, IGT’s booth was a star attraction. Our sales force hosted hundreds of customers and introduced them to our newest products, while IGT executives and product managers met with gaming media from around the world. Booth guests took in the energy of our tournament arena and enjoyed new IGT licensed themes such as House of Cards Power IMoney Video Slots, Breaking Bad™ Video Slots, and Orange Is the New Black™ Video Slots.
On Tuesday, IGT launched Orange Is the New Black on DoubleDown Casino. This marked the first time that the Company has launched a marquee licensed brand on the Company's social casino app concurrently with the debut of a land-based casino version of the game.
Tuesday also marked the unveiling of the much-anticipated TRUE 3D™ theme, and Wheel of Fortune® Double Diamond® 3D. Prominently featured in a Wheel of Fortune-themed area of our booth, this marquee theme drew a line of trade show attendees who patiently awaited their turns to be among the first to experience it. In the same area of our booth, operators took a spin on the Wheel of Fortune-themed “Megaslot” with the hope of winning its million-dollar top prize.
IGT’s OnPremise™ solution was the main attraction on day two. In the days leading up to G2E, the mobile technology won first place in the “Best Consumer Service Technology” category of the 15th Annual Global Gaming Business Gaming & Technology Awards.
All eyes were on IGT on Wednesday afternoon when TMZ Executive Producer Harvey Levin joined IGT executives to unveil TMZ Video Slots. Crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood icon and to get a first look at the entertainment-packed slot machine. On Wednesday night, our sales team hosted an exclusive customer appreciation event.
The final day of G2E was tournament day, as customers participated in lively Spin Ferno and Ultimate X Poker tournaments every 30 minutes. The winner of each tournament took home either a Kindle Fire or an Apple Watch.
From systems to Interactive, and from core to premium, IGT demonstrated our strengths as the leading end-to-end gaming company. Through the hard work of thousands of our employees, G2E 2015 was a remarkable success and one that will go down in history as the ultimate example of the IGT’s “Winning Combination” – THANK YOU to everyone who came to see us at G2E 2015 and to the amazing IGT team who made this a truly great show for IGT!
