Back in my office in Germany, the ICE show already feels like a long time ago. After months of preparation for the first ICE Totally Gaming as the new IGT, the three-day show passed extremely quickly.
The week in London was packed with meeting lots of new colleagues as well as those that I have known for years. It is also great to engage with our customers in person, beyond the communication we have with them during the year, which is mostly limited to phone calls and emails.
This year’s ICE show was certainly special in many ways: We had one of the biggest booths at the show with an impressive 1300m², and our product portfolio has certainly been the biggest we have ever showcased with products across all gaming segments.
We had a lot going on to entertain our customers and tell them about our latest products. Our promotional staff drew attention to our TRUE 3D™ portfolio, Spin Ferno™ our turn-key premium tournament solution, and other premium titles such as the Wheel of Fortune slots or House of Cards game content. The famous IGT Happy Hour was crowded every day and always provides a great opportunity to meet with customers in a relaxed atmosphere.
While we are still busy wrapping up ICE 2016, some of us are already thinking of the next ICE show. After all, it is just under 12 months until we all meet again in London and I can’t wait to meet you all again.
