Alexandra Comman works as a Product Marketing / Sales Account Manager for strategic accounts at IGT. In her Product Marketing Manager role, she focuses on driving demand and adoption of our key systems products by defining product positioning and key messages while also fostering the product launch process.
In her role, she actively supports the selling process by demonstrating and presenting our products to customers, as well as gathering in-depth market knowledge to ensure we provide the right products for each market. Looking back at almost 15 years of experience in the gaming industry, Alex talks to us about our systems product highlights for this year’s show and shares her love for this industry:
With so much planned for this year’s ICE show, what are you the most excited about to show our customers and why?
I’m absolutely thrilled to demonstrate our extensive range of mobile solutions. This year at ICE, we want to show how we placed mobile apps at the heart of our casino management system, as we believe it is essential for operators to drive profits and enhance players’ experiences.
Indeed, with accrued competition, operators need to access key information when and where they need it the most to be more efficient in optimizing their operations & maximizing carded play, which in essence will allow them to focus and spend more time on providing better experience for their guests! Speaking of enhancing guests’ experiences, we will show how SpinFerno uses the potential of Tournament Manager to bring more thrill, contagious excitement and interaction when playing slot games!
Finally, amongst our wide range of mobile solutions, Cardless Connect will be the one I am most proud to demonstrate… as you can imagine. With Cardless Connect, we not only bring in a new standard in gaming by demonstrating how IGT helps operators position their casino at the cutting edge of technology, but we also help encourage players to leverage Cardless Connect through the casino app. Indeed, Cardless Connect really adds value to the operator’s app by allowing players to card in with their phone at the point of play.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the diversity and intensity that my job offers combined with customer-facing situations, market analysis, and product strategy to focus at delivering market-leading and innovative products.
And to be honest, I think we can all agree that what we LOVE the most is working for this extraordinary fast-growing & evolving industry!

Alex, what’s your favorite part of ICE London?
Hmmm… If I close my eyes, the first thing that comes to my mind is the look of people’s faces on Tuesday morning when it finally starts. The collective efforts and energy required to make this show happen is based on months of preparation – and on day 1 of the show, all you can feel around you is how thrilled and proud we all are about our products and our booth. We all look at each other with a contagious, “Yeahhh let’s do it!”. And then we’re ready for those 3 adrenalin-loaded days!
