G2E is once again upon us! The Product, Technology and Marketing Teams at IGT have been burning the midnight oil since the carpet was pulled up from last year’s show to make sure our offering in 2017 continues to provide industry-leading content, cabinet and technology solutions!
While our portfolio has made great strides across the entire spectrum, I would like to focus on one particular segment…for sale cabinets and content. This business has been stripped down and transformed in the last 18 months and the benefits have been slowly building to the crescendo you will see at this year’s show.
So, why? Methodology, plain and simple. The test banks we have deployed globally have given IGT incredible insight into what themes, game mechanics and experiences players are looking for. We apply those insights to build a solid, dependable library that our customers can put on their casino floors with a high degree of confidence.
IGT has taken game and market validation to an all-new level. Every game we produce must pass a 180 day performance test where games are categorized based on the floor average of each particular property. Games that do not perform are either reworked or abandoned altogether.
So what does this mean? As the previous 18 months have passed, IGT has honed in on what constitutes a good performing game and our hit rate has greatly improved.. To the customer, this means a solid stable of performers that are backed by proven field data, and it brings a new level of confidence when buying IGT core product!
G2E 2017 will feature the most comprehensive set of proven performing games that IGT has featured in recent memory and I invite everyone to put our methodology to the test!
