Posted 10/7/2015 by Sylvia Dietz

Dear customers, colleagues and friends of IGT,

IGT employees from around the world came together last week to present the Company’s Winning Combination of games, systems, and solutions, and to demonstrate our Customer Firstapproach in action.

IGT successfully showcased its combined global strength of our newly formed Company as G2E Las Vegas represents the largest North American gaming show of the year. Attendance topped 25,000 and the exhibitor list exceeded expectations at more than 450.

Our theme for this year’s G2E is “Your Winning Combination.” This message is meant to describe the end-to-end portfolio of gaming solutions from Interactive to systems, and from games to hardware that we deliver to our valued Customers from around the world. The theme can also be applied to the team behind G2E – the engine that drives IGT’s sprawling exhibit at North America’s largest gaming trade show.

In today’s blog we will meet a few of the service professional who play integral roles IGT’s G2E booth set up.

Behind the Scenes

In the next two blogs we will be introducing you to a few of the people who have been an integral part to the planning and execution of the 2015 Global Gaming Expo. We’d like to introduce you to Aron Lopez, our Casino Design Specialist, and Kelley Myers from our Product team.

Let’s start with Aron; Aron can you describe what you do?

Aron Lopez

I have been described by many as the CAD guru, but I am not sure how accurate that is in reality. I am a designer with a background in both architecture and interior design. My position as a Casino Designer operates about 95% to our clientele both domestically and internationally. Services requested by clients and internal IGT associates are: Spatial planning for casino floors, high-limit areas, bars and 3D renderings. Depending on the type of services requested, a proposal may be presented, which can bring some ROI to the Company.

Yesterday we met with Jennifer Fales; today I would like to introduce you to Jennifer Bowman.

Jennifer Bowman

Jennifer, can you give us a brief overview of what you do?

I am responsible for the global Product Marketing of all commercial gaming products (excluding premium products), International Field Marketing and global Sales Enablement.  I lead a diverse group of individuals that is based around the world.

I love that in Product Marketing I am integrated into the new product introduction launch process to ensure that we have the right assets in place to properly market our games on property, as well as crafting integrated global campaigns from the “product launch” through the “sustain” phases.

Some use the phrase “It takes a village” to describe the teamwork required to pull off a project as large as IGT’s G2E booth. We feel, however that the teamwork needed to produce a trade show booth as dynamic as IGT’s can be better described as the work of an entire state…. and not just any state! We’re talking a big, Texas-sized state!

Over the next two weeks we will introduce you to some of the IGT team members who have worked behind-the-scenes on this year’s G2E. Our next two blog posts will feature “The Jennifer’s”. Yes we have two of them – Jennifer Fales and Jennifer Bowman, both IGT Directors for Marketing. They are integral players in making G2E 2015 a successful event and helping to ensure that our booth demonstrates the Winning Combination of the new IGT.

Jennifer Fales

Let’s start with Jennifer Fales:

Jennifer can you describe the role of you and your team?
My team and I oversee all marketing activity for the Casino Premium product category.  Products range from Wheel of Fortune and MegaBucks to Ellen and culturally enriched titles like San Xing Bao Xi.

How long have you been with the company?
I’ve been with IGT for just over 3 years and spent 9 years on the operator side before joining the company.

Wow, what a year it has been…. It’s hard to believe that the merger between GTECH and IGT was less than six months ago, so much has happened since then! The integration has been so seamless and complementary that it feels like we’ve been working in this combined organization for a long time. The completion of the merger agreement in April created the new IGT – the world’s leading end-to-end gaming company, and since then we’ve exhibited at trade shows around the world such as G2E Asia and the Australasian Gaming Expo, and at several Latin American shows and customer events. After each event we have received tremendously positive customer feedback. The new IGT continues to feel like one unified team that has worked together for much longer than several months.

Consistent with our Customer First approach, we continue to meet with customers from around the world to reinforce our commitment to helping them meet their business objectives, and we feel we´re better positioned for that than ever before. We´re leveraging the depth and breadth of our combined product portfolio to better serve our customers. The new IGT has a presence in more than 100 countries and provides local support and market-attuned solutions in the markets we serve. I´m proud to say we have the most comprehensive product portfolio in the gaming industry, with gaming solutions across all channels and regulated segments. We invest heavily in R&D to continue to introduce innovations that help our customers drive profitability with games, systems and solutions and engage and excite players throughout the world
